Student Gallery 1

The Student Galleries on this site feature the works of students from the six class groups that participate. The images may be of resolved works that resulted from an exercise set up in class or they may be  works completed by students over time spent in class working on totally original ideas.

The aim is to present visitors to the site with an overall idea of the work that is completed. Many folk are attracted to the idea of undertaking classes in Drawing and Painting thinking that it is only about the gaining of techniques and skills. These images will show the exercises used to generate the skills but also that extra something: the insight, the originality, the idea that is vital to create a work that is arresting and in many cases, memorable.

Works will be tagged as to the name of the student artist and also its "status" as exercise or own work.
